Sol pricing is set at $5 input / $30 output per million tokens, which positions it as a premium inference product comparable to Anthropic’s Claude-level enterprise tiers and above Google’s standard Gemini 3.x pricing.
The Safety Infrastructure Behind the Release
One reason the government’s request was not simply that OpenAI lacked confidence in its own safety work.
